Well, chad has been training for the past few months for his half marathon and he the day finally came. His goal was to make it under 2 hours and guess what...he did!! We were so proud of him!

We all made it to shreveport...katie's first roadtrip! She was great traveling..carson on the otherhand...he wanted to stay up all the way to his pou pou's house and that was an hour too way past his bedtime!!
This thanksgiving, we spent it at my in laws, it was really nice. Carson had a blast playing with his cousin trent. And, pou pou and paw paw came in town to go see the saints vs cowboys game. So carson was double happy!! we started out thanksgiving morning with doing the turkey trot...this is carson's first race to participate in.

He hated the stroller and wanted to run like everyone else..unfortunately, chad had to carry him the last mile and a half and that is a workout in itself!! Carson was so proud of himself after the race...he really loved the treats and refreshments after the race!

The holidays are amongst us...we went to downtown mckinney today and enjoyed christmas carolers, visits with santa, and storytime to name a few. Chad was out for the weekend hunting so I had planned a lot for the kids to do! we had a great time!! Tomorrow we will start the christmas decorating!! I love the holidays
