Fun day at the arboreteum

Mommy and Carson!!!!



Today was my first friday off!! I was so glad to be able to spend it with Carson! Today we went to the arboreteum to listen to a speaker talk about the new phil and ted products.... It's pretty neat. The strollers are outrageous and they have a thing called the me too that connects to the table and acts like a high chair. Carson really liked the chair...AND to make things better...they GAVE us one!!! Some of the mothers were commenting about how good carson was...it kinda funny...that thats what they considered GOOD! lol. Afterwards Carson and I were able to walk around the arboreteum and have a good time.  He kept pointing to trees and saying "tree" and He kept running away from me and thought it was so funny!

IT was so hot today...his little cheeks turned all red and he was downing his milk! 

Carson went to the wiggly play center hula party with his cousin brigette....he had a great time!

He loved watching the girls hula dance and loved riding in his little push car...he even rode on the roller coaster with his cousin!!!

Two of Carson's bottom teeth are coming in...and needless to say...he is GROUCHY! But he sure has a mouthful of teeth! So his rash from the MMR shot is gone and his eczema has cleared up pretty good with the new med his dermatologist prescribed him (Elocon). He is getting interested in books now...not so much sitting down and reading them, but at least he goes to get the books and turns the pages. I figured I should read to him when I am feeding him breakfast...at least he is in one place and I have his attention. He loves books that you have to lift the tabs, or has things that you have to feel. I can tell he is getting his own personality....he is so smart and curious and yet SO stubborn with lots of ATTITUDE!! I think he gets the latter part from his daddy! 

One of his favorite places to go is to Chuck E Cheese.... I finally got join him for lunch! Along with his cousins and aunts!!!

Bike Ride

Well, we bought a bike trailer..

hopefully we will use it. Chad took carson on a 2 and a half mile bike ride...and I could only make it twice around the neighborhood! Man, what a great workout! 

We went to pump it up jr...since his friend matthew had so much fun there. And it was really fun. Carson was doing the obstacle courses and had so much fun going down the slides!

 On saturday we went to see a car show, we got to see lots of neat cars and carson even got to eat a banana split!! Oh how he loved it so!!

Story time at the library

This is fun!!
We went to the haggard library storytime today...Carson had a blast. He sat still when they were reading the books and got up to do the dances! At the end of storytime, they started to pass out colorful hankerchiefs for the last song and when carson saw the basket full of the hankerchiefs, he got up from my lap and weaved in and out of the crowd straight to the lady...he put his hand out for a hankerchief and when she gave him one..you should have seen his face...He turned around with the hugest smile on his face and was practically running back to me to give it to me!! They blew bubbles for the children and he was running around popping the bubbles. He was so upset when it was time to leave.

First Run....

Today was Carson's first run with his daddy. Chad took Carson on a 3 mile run today on the jogging stroller. Carson woke up extra early today...5:30am, so Chad took the opportunity for an early run. You can tell from the picture that Carson just woke up!! Talk about bedhead!

I was a little worried, a little after they left I heard it thundering...but they came back safe and dry! Aunt Christine came to visit today....just a eat and run visit, but it was still nice to see her.

Carson had his 15 month check up today. He had his MMR vaccine today which I was a little leary about, but Chad said that he promised he'd take Carson to chuck e cheese if he was brave..so carson cried for a little bit, but got over it pretty quickly...especially when they made it to chuck e cheese. The doctor says that he is doing pretty good. Here is his measurements:
weight: 23.13 lbs (30%)
height: 33 1/4 in (95%)
head: 48 cm (75%)
He is looking good!!!

First Kiss

So, Today we went to Quynh's 1 month party for her son Hayden. It was a lot of fun, there were lots of little kids there, but there was one that particularly caught carson's eye. Her name was Sophie. She just turned 1 year old. We were all just talking and letting the kids play, next thing I knew, I saw sophie kneel on her knees playing, then I saw carson go up to her, get on his knees, he tilted his head and looked into her eyes and then I saw both of them lean in together and...THEY KISSED! I couldnt believe it. It was so cute, but I was stunned and so was her mother. Oh brother...I might have a bigger problem on my hands. I knew carson loved his girls...but I have a bad feeling about this! :P

4th of July celebration

          I love the USA!!
Today we went to the Plano 4th of July parade! We woke up early and met matthew and my cousins out there! Mrs. Amy brought bagels for all of us that were really yummy! We got to see airplanes fly over, we saw lots of people who were really nice and gave us all some flags! We had a lot of fun but after it was all done, I was really tired! Daddy and I took a nap then we all headed over to Nin-Nin's for lunch and some fun in the pool. I got to hang out with Aunt Tracy, Aunt Tammy, and Brigette to name a few. David made great food...I love his guacamole dip! I tried to stay awake for the fireworks but... couldnt make it...there's always next year! God Bless the USA!!

Today, we joined the Szeto family for some independence day fun! We went to the wiggly play center in frisco. Carson got to played with Matthew on the bounce house, and even got mommy to go down the big slide with him! We danced to music, shook our shakers and got to run around as much as we liked! It was great!
