First Kiss

So, Today we went to Quynh's 1 month party for her son Hayden. It was a lot of fun, there were lots of little kids there, but there was one that particularly caught carson's eye. Her name was Sophie. She just turned 1 year old. We were all just talking and letting the kids play, next thing I knew, I saw sophie kneel on her knees playing, then I saw carson go up to her, get on his knees, he tilted his head and looked into her eyes and then I saw both of them lean in together and...THEY KISSED! I couldnt believe it. It was so cute, but I was stunned and so was her mother. Oh brother...I might have a bigger problem on my hands. I knew carson loved his girls...but I have a bad feeling about this! :P

4th of July celebration

          I love the USA!!
Today we went to the Plano 4th of July parade! We woke up early and met matthew and my cousins out there! Mrs. Amy brought bagels for all of us that were really yummy! We got to see airplanes fly over, we saw lots of people who were really nice and gave us all some flags! We had a lot of fun but after it was all done, I was really tired! Daddy and I took a nap then we all headed over to Nin-Nin's for lunch and some fun in the pool. I got to hang out with Aunt Tracy, Aunt Tammy, and Brigette to name a few. David made great food...I love his guacamole dip! I tried to stay awake for the fireworks but... couldnt make it...there's always next year! God Bless the USA!!

july fun!

Today, we joined the Szeto family for some independence day fun! We went to the wiggly play center in frisco. Carson got to played with Matthew on the bounce house, and even got mommy to go down the big slide with him! We danced to music, shook our shakers and got to run around as much as we liked! It was great!

Father's Day 2009

Well, today was father's day!! We went to pick Chad up at the airport this morning and suprised him with father's day brunch. We also invited Carson's godfather, Rodney and his family to brunch as well. We chose to go to the glass cactus for brunch...but the wait was over an hour so we went to the riverwalk cafe in the Gaylord Texas hotel...it was a wait as well, but there was plenty to see while waiting. The gaylord is so nice...it really seems like you stepped into a whole different place when you walk in. There were lots of trains, face painting, and jugglers. There was so many pretty backgrounds... to take lots of pictures. We had a great time and after 3 hrs...we were stuffed and tired!! Carson was sporting a button that said " I love my daddy!" all day...Happy Father's Day!!

Last weekend of march

Boy, we had such a busy weekend... we went to the baby expo in fort worth where carson entered the diaper derby...we thought for sure he would win! He was the first to start crawling, but then he started to crawl off the mat and make his own path to crawl! Needless to say, he didn't win the derby! We went to Carson's first "friend" birthday party - Matthew and Carson are best friends! He had a blast celebrating Matthew's first birthday with him! Today, we went to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Brunch with the Easter Bunny.. Carson was a little scared of the easter bunny, but got over it quickly enough to take a picture with the easter Bunny! Carson spent almost the whole day with his Aunt Christine who played with him and had him laughing so hard! We practiced walking with Carson...he still isnt consistant with walking, but he is taking 3 to 4 steps at a time!
